Loss due to Social media!

     Senses are arrested or locked or captivated within a minute circle – having the cell phone and you only! Not sensing and thinking with ‘broad’-mindedness, one’s environment is lost as also the time spent in it!

Put away gadgets and move with others!

    When one is deeply engaged in reading books or social media or listening to television, he/she forgets the environment and concentrates mind in it only. So, the person loses contact with the environment where all others are present, active and moving around. At that time or at any instant of that time, they may get out of his environment and cannot be seen then, either to talk to or to move with. But he can stop his personal concentrating works by switching off the gadgets, which action is in his control only, whereas, the chance of personal contacting with others is not entirely in his control. 

So, whenever there are other persons around, one should stop reading books or listening to the electronic media, put them away and grab the chance of moving with them, more surely when the persons belong to a younger age group.

Move, see, hear and speak!

      Our senses won't last longer as we had them in our infancy. The eye sight and hearing capacity may become impaired. Our talking abilities may also be compromised due to damage to our teeth. Our movements may become feeble due to pain or changes in the legs and hands. So, mingle with the environment - man, woman, children, animals, plants, hills or stones that are present in it. Move to them; see them; hear the sounds made by them, if any, and raise your voice or speak into the environment - now itself. Do not lament later when you become incapacitated to do them.

Avoid getting injured or insulted!

      Yoga can only prepare persons to perform their body and mind work in an orderly manner. If you get injuries or insults to your body or mind by your own activities or by other persons or the environment, then doing yoga cannot do anything; it cannot prevent them. So, even if you do yoga, control your mind and body carefully, and also control the environment around you, or control others' body and mind, if possible, to avoid yourself from getting injured or insulted.

Train kids to handle themselves in the Nature!

     Children must get the training of their muscles by handling natural objects present in the environment. Do not make them entirely dependent on the objects provided at the school. Give the kids those objects present in the Nature (or at least, point to them) even if the man-made similar objects are provided at school. This will prepare them to be aware of the realities of the environment existing and waiting for their exploration - leaving behind the present day virtual world being created by the ignorant humans.

          If one does a work with concentration and much focusing, he/she is separated from the environment, not having any sensory feeling from the environment (forgetting the environment), and not having the desires that rose out of it earlier or those which are ought to rise out of it!

Retain your personality - by making your own decision!

       All of us, human beings - and even some other animals, have the same sense organs and perceive the same images, sounds or feelings from the same scenario of the same environment. Only, the impact of them on our mind and the thoughts emerging out of it make our responding activities different from each other (or each animal). Previous knowledge, involvement, importance and the desire to explore/get only influence these activities. So, whenever food or gifts or any material or service is offered, use your senses and decide whether to accept it or not. You can then say an yes or no to it by this instant decision that boosts your welfare :). That's your personality - uninfluenced by the personality of anybody else!

Accept changes and don't expect all!

      People of the younger age to the middle age should accept changes and situations, within limits [:)], that happen in them, in others or in the environment around them.
      But after their middle age, they should accept them all - as usual and natural things that happen in all the generations. And, they should not expect all that they wish to happen either in them, in others or in the environment around them. If they get what they expected, it's well and good; they must accept it - within limits!

Share your enjoyment with kids!

    Create for children situations to enjoy every activity; create an environment for them to make the place enjoyable. Guide them and communicate with them to experience and enjoy every activity with wonder and enthusiasm. Involve yourself also in their activities, enjoying, and making them to have a share from your enjoyment that they will remember for lifetime.
      Even a little enjoyment, that we consider as less important one, will be a greater one to children; it will be like one of our enjoyment that we feel now and think as a great one to have in our lifetime!
      So, make life enjoyable in each activity of children so that their later life shall also be enjoyed by them pleasantly, even when we are away from them.

Discipline repels away disasters!

        Discipline in all respects, makes even natural disasters to go deviated away from us without harming us! Nature and environment, where we live in, shall adjust with all of our disciplined activities. But when we do these activities in excess, the nature and the environment may not be able to adjust so quickly. So, all of us should do activities in a disciplined manner that too not in excess than required. Then, the human society can live longer in this planet, the Earth.

Compare/match always to get awareness!

           Feeling, understanding and memory - all these constitute awareness in a human being. There are two kinds of awareness - one internal, concerning both the body and mind and the other one, external, concerning the environment. These two types of awareness are done and hence present at that moment by comparing and matching the differences found between the past state of the mind & body or the environment and the present state of them respectively. They are constantly revised and updated from moment to moment. In old age, such comparing the differences is done between the past state of the mind & body and the present state of the environment. It is also done between the present state of the mind & body and the past state of the environment (- as seen in the yogis doing yoga who feel better in the present state of body & mind, and hence they become aware of it!). When the person dies, these all awareness too go off as he/she!

Give and take policy in the environment!

From the environment around, you get food, breathe air, receive sounds and feel anything touching your skin. Do we give back these to the environment? Shouldn't we make the environment experience and enjoy what it gave us to experience and enjoy? We should give food to others - those in the environment - man, animal or plant; we should plant trees to give back the pure air to the environment; speak or sing in the environment to communicate/please its occupants; touch or handle persons, animals, plants and things gently, softly and fondly. Moreover, the environment comes into your eyes all by itself as a vision to you. What could you do for it? You should make your appearance in the environment pleasing to all while you move around in it! This pleasing should not be for the human beings alone, but for the animals, plants and also to the non-living things in it! This is because the energies you got from the environment are to be given back thus: a give and take policy! You took that from the environment; environment shall take that you give it back to it, isn't it?

Reverting back to the state beyond a new born baby!

When a grown adult person finds his body parts are not movable or controllable, as before or as others, he feels hopeless in life; first he becomes depressed. Later, if he loses  his sensory and understanding abilities also, he becomes confused and forgets the previous incidents and hence, loses his memory. Now in this stage he doesn't want anything from his immediate environment. So, his 'I' and the 'Mind' is lost to somewhere; he slowly moves down to an unconscious state - a coma-like state that he had been in before he was born in this world! Where did his soul go at this stage? Did it go back to its source, the main analytical mind ring (probably, the God) from where it came from? Will it return back to make him live and active as before? If you know about it, share it here!

Eight activities of you!

There are eight activities for you (for the eight senses you have!):
  1. Getting out of house - to see the natural environment around you.
  2. Speaking to others - for making others to hear and understand you.
  3. Touching others - for giving others your love, assurance, hope and secure feeling.
  4. Giving others food - for tasting, feeling the good in it and blessing you.
  5. Giving pleasant smells - for making others feel (smell) good of you, by cleaning yourself, house and the vicinity you live in.
  6. Mingling with others and appreciating them - for making them realise their presence with you.
  7. Doing desired activities being satisfied in it and expressing this satisfaction with emotion to others - for making yourself feel your presence when they appreciate you.
  8. Helping others having distress either in their mind or body, or having both of them, and with  this adding your going to the temple for worshipping the God - for making others feel the presence of God.
So, don't leave a day without doing these activities; don't remain idle at your house having all the capacities for doing these activities!

Unpleasant? Make it pleasant!

If the environment present around you is unpleasant, make it a pleasant one for you. Don't blame the nature of your environment for it. That environment can be changed favourably without affecting other persons and without losing other benefits that you are getting out of it. It can be done only by you - by your activities. Make the environment friendly and favourable for yourself!

Selectively postpone your activities to a later time; but do those activities in the next possible time, as they may have then become important to do. This applies even to your personal activities too. Such a measure will safeguard you and make you congenial to the people you live with and the environment you live in!
