        If one does great things in life, he has self-esteem. But if others go on appreciating him, he becomes proud of it, and then goes on to try and do more and more for it; thus he becomes crazy for being appreciated more and more. (The best example for them are the Kings of the ancient times!).

 To be smoother in their lives, people, particularly those aging, should have these with them:

1. Good memory power – to appreciate all the persons.

2. Adjustment – giving up something and being satisfied with what is at present or in possession.

3. Self-control – setting the limits and not crossing them.

They must train themselves to enrich all those above-said. What they should not have, and what they should avoid are these:

1. Forgetfulness.

2. Alamance.

3. Limitlessness.

Mind-hearing through our speech!

    Thoughts and the air, breathed in or out, are interconnected. Thoughts are formed in the mind and so, the mind is also connected with the air we breathe. If the air striking on the senses (through the ears) could produce the feelings and thoughts (and emotions), it, (the air), can be produced (expressed) back from us too, as sound waves from our mind and thoughts via the breathed-in air - our speech. 

If the thoughts arising from the mind are directly conveyed to the environment as speech, it shall be ‘truth.’ Or, if they are twisted between the path of thought process and the mind, and then only spoken off, it shall be a purposely twisted one that is done to influence on others; it may be either a truth or a lie; but it will be definitely a delayed act done to influence on others.

If the air is the medium connected to one’s mind, it can be also reached by others (who breathe in, seated front of him) by making him to speak – by their use of commanding words (actions, like speech), and getting themselves connected to his mind, by listening through their ears or senses, isn’t it? Though one’s mind cannot be directly connected to others, his mind’s data storage through his memory, can be accessed by others, when he/she tries to remember and retrieve data, and refreshes memory, thinks and decides before replying to the commanding questions (as in saying ‘yes’ or ‘no’). Here, others could actually read his mind’s storage data that he refreshed out to enter into his mind, and examined just now, and could read (or hear) also that comes out tagged to his speech using his breathed-in air. 

Thus they, such specially trained persons, may be actually reading (hearing) his recovered data through the air he gives out as speech/reply! So, the mind’s data retrieved by remembering may be still existing at his lungs’ level, though temporarily. This data may get erased with time and distractions, as we breathe in fresh air at a different place through our breathing and by meditation!

Put away gadgets and move with others!

    When one is deeply engaged in reading books or social media or listening to television, he/she forgets the environment and concentrates mind in it only. So, the person loses contact with the environment where all others are present, active and moving around. At that time or at any instant of that time, they may get out of his environment and cannot be seen then, either to talk to or to move with. But he can stop his personal concentrating works by switching off the gadgets, which action is in his control only, whereas, the chance of personal contacting with others is not entirely in his control. 

So, whenever there are other persons around, one should stop reading books or listening to the electronic media, put them away and grab the chance of moving with them, more surely when the persons belong to a younger age group.

Don’t become a slave by bending neck!

    When we bend down our head, it means that we won’t do any work by ourselves from that moment onwards either by talking or doing, or won’t think ourselves. With this our bending down, our breathing passages are partially blocked by cutting down the air-supply to our mind and senses. (Thus, we become a slave to others).

Don’t bend down necks; look up straight to the world raising up chin. A lot of things are there in the external world to be explored, desired, thought on, acted upon and appreciated – all these done with our refreshed mind and senses; keep them all alive – by looking up and doing all by ourselves without expecting commands from others!

Adapted, and so, adopted to newer styles too!

      In the past, our ancestors wore cloths they liked and had a different style of living that amazes us today. Each of them saw since their birth, that the same style of life was being continued by their parents and neighbhours constantly, resisting changes, and so, adapted to it, they adopted it. They reflected the same style in their life too not disturbing others by living differently. Their children too followed them on seeing them. 

Though our present generation's living style has changed much from that of ancestor's styles through years, by adopting different styles, our body and mind are the same as that of our ancestors. Our understanding capacity too hasn’t changed at all, and it remains constant all through the generations from our ancestors to the present generation, making the life peaceful, without any conflict, through there has been slow adopting to newer styles of living.

Giving a return gift to a flower and a temple!

      If you see a beautiful flower, you appreciate it. It gives you also honey and many other benefits through its fruit etc. In turn and in gratitude, what could be done for it? Though you cannot give it money, as it is usually done now, you can grow the plant’s seedlings from its seeds!

Likewise, if you visit a temple or any other tourist spot, you can give offerings to the temple and buy mementos that satisfies both the managing staff and the memento sellers. You and your family members should speak with the managing staff and appreciate about the beauty and nature of the place. Moreover, find that wherever the places you go and whenever you appreciate, the people of the places shall be enticed to give more details on it as you expected. In turn, you can help them for that in so many ways.

Doing at least these to remain healthy!

       For our growth and getting energy, many parts of our digestive system having multitude of functional capacities are being kept ready and waiting to take in the food items provided through our mouth. Shouldn’t we do at least the duty of selecting good quality food items, making them clean and softer for easier digestion by them and check the foods' quality by tasting before swallowing? 

Those parts do not directly inform us about our taking-in of bad quality food. Instead, they intimate us indirectly by showing the discomfort or pain that develops - to alert and warn us not to take such bad food at the next instant. We must understand such communication, avoid bad quality food-intake and control ourselves in eating food items excessively to remain healthy.

Thoughts have been copied and pasted in Books!

        Thoughts that are formed in a person fade out and are forgotten soon. But all the activities of the person including his/her speech are seen and heard by others to be remembered by them later on. So, thoughts are a waste of mental energy when they become excess. One should limit them, and talk and do more activities using the idea or decision formed out of them.

Thoughts of the person cannot be felt by others using their senses, even though they stand very close to that person. But that person can transfer his/her thoughts to others by communicating/expressing them through their verbal words of speech, activities or through their written words. These can be done either by talking to them, participating in activities or by writing a letter/book for others to read. Now, through these, others will be able to remember his/her thoughts through all their lifetime!

Come out of doubting!

       Having doubt is a thin area; but it is a strong one. It has two sides. If one moves to it's one side, guessing the matter/observation/information as false, it may fool him, if it is true in reality. It's other side may produce the most violent reaction on guessing it to be true, if it is false in reality. Apart from this, there is an another state of mind that is going on doubting and doubting, moving this side and that side and remaining in that state without any rest. So, one who doubts must dive deep into the matter; think and analyze taking all the circumstances and possibilities, and arrive at a solution to come out first from the doubting state. In deciding it to be false, one should lead a life with good hope and in deciding it to be true, he must take immediate, correct and accepted steps to deal with it. Thus the adverse and unfair effects formed out of doubting on himself or on others concerned, may be avoided positively.

      If one plans with the slots of conducting an event, and rushes towards in executing each of it, he will find at the end that, that event has been finished too early and fast, though done smoothly. If each of such events are conducted like this, then his living years shall fly off fast, and he shall soon find himself in the old age - at the end of his life. So, involve in and enjoy each moment/event of life and rejoice, without bothering about the planned slots - to make all the future events pleasant too!

Let us be aware of the presence of switches!

     If one feels that he is deeply attached to the present day screens, he can get himself released from them! Suppose that he is listening in a concert. He shall quit the hall in response to an emergency phone call. Or, in case he goes to the restroom there in response to body's urge and returns back, here, he won't miss too much of the concert. Is it not? But in listening to the screens, he thinks only about their capacity of giving him uninterrupted entertainment. He forgets the fact that they can be controlled by his stopping them for now, to listen to later on. So, he has only the desire to continue getting the pleasures out of it forever. Now, f he assesses the situation for a second, as he does for the emergency call at the concert, and quits this screen listening habit, he will be able to control his desires. Thus, only we should control the screens by our switching off both the device and the desire. And we should not make the screens have a command on us through our craziness and through their contents.

    If one cannot observe, discipline and control himself and his body, then how he could advise, expect or compel others to follow him, and control their bodies and minds as he desires them to do? Even if others do it as expected, the activities done won't be even 50% of it! So, each one should individually accept only the guidelines of those persons who themselves observe and practice their own guidelines to 100% and point to the 100% of benefits achieved. Then the expectations and desires of these persons shall be fruitful to have an influence and effect at both community and the world level! The best example for this is the observation of guidelines by people in preventing the Corona virus infection, Covid-19!

Don't compare to envy!

      When one compares himself with others, he shall be placing himself by the side of others, in his mind. Here, the negative/positive aspects of others shall merge with him and make him either too much negative or too much positive - in his mind. But in reality, what he is, is only what he is. It cannot be changed by such comparing only. Moreover, comparing shall produce only either envying or shall make him stop his progress altogether, when he finds himself above others. So, don't compare and get disturbed; be as you are with all your progress towards a bright future.

      At this time (of Corona virus infection - Covid-19), we have created a fear and a barrier between ourselves and the neighbours. We can avoid depression and be cheerful by breaking this lack of communication (without giving room for the virus to infect us). Let us make ourselves available at a certain convenient time of the day for others to talk with us. Initiate, encourage and invite a few of them at a time, for such a meeting and talking. This meeting (conducted following strictly all the precautionary measures against the Covid-19,) will be more rejuvenating for us than by communicating through any social media or by talking through phone.

        When a person exercises, it doesn't mean that his muscles are only being exercised. Every content of his body gets exercised - organs, tissues and cells! Even blood vessels also do exercise with him! It means that being active, without lying or sitting lazy. This avoids unnecessary lazy deposits inside the organs, tissues, cells or blood vessels. Thus, by doing exercise, we can exercise all the body cells to lose these deposits or to prevent any fresh depositing in them. And by this, we can prevent non-communicable diseases such as Hypertension and Diabetes.

Civilizations were born out of position and discipline!

       In the past, humans had been wandering and gathering here and there, till they found a place that gave them shelter, safety and food, which were present there continuously without any stopping. There the humans stopped their wandering and gathering, and stayed there. After some period of time, there developed the competitiveness among their fellowmen creating feuds and chaos among them. Some geniuses and well-wishers among them responded to these for retaining the welfare of their community. They created 'position' for each member and material of the community and 'discipline' of the members to behave in an orderly manner. That paved the way to the members for the acceptance and cooperativeness among them, which gave them numerous benefits, and progress to the community. Thus many civilizations were born out of this accepting the given position and leading a disciplined life! Only due to these we live a civilized life nowadays; let us all continue it!
